Starting with an apprenticeship, Cam has worked for a local builder, Richard Windsor, for the last 8 years. Working in the roll of foreman over the past years have provided immense challenge and growth in both his craftsmanship and management skills.
Developing a building company has been Cameron's dream, and upon the retirement of his former boss, Grant Family Homes was established.
Cam was the leading hand when we commissioned R&A Windsor to build our home during, what turned out to be, the COVID disruptions.
The build required plenty of problem solving with plans that were incomplete, materials that did not meet spec, a 15m laminated beam, and engaged owners.
Cam got on and made things happen - we got a house we love. He worked well with us when needed and also appeared to work well with his team, and the other tradies. Cam was always calm, thoughtful & polite, he communicated well where things needed to be raised and was able to ensure that the consequences of what was being requested were understood.
We worked directly with Cam on a highly visual piece that needed to take a concept, achieve aesthetic expectations and be buildable. Navigating two passionate and opinionated people is always going to be "a hard day at the office". Cam did a great job of coalescing our ideas with a prototype and then delivered the dream.
All and all it was a pleasure to have Cam on our build and we have confidence that he will do a great job for you.

"Cameron Grant worked on our new build in the position of Head Foreman.
Our architecturally designed home involved building a large contemporary house of superior quality and an attached 70 sqm dwelling, totalling 473 sqm.
A high level of construction and attention to detail was required with Cameron showing the skills needed for this very complex build.
